HTC One X9 Revealed In Live Images, Specs Include 5.5-Inch Display, 13 MP Rear Camera, 3,000 mAh Battery

HTC's upcoming device is no secret anymore. According to GSM Arena, the Taiwanese multinational manufacturer of smartphones is set to release a smartphone called as the One X9. And even though it's still to come, fans are given a heads up of what the handset will be like.

Several set of renders have been released before, and now, some live high-res images haves surfaced via Chinese smartphone blog Anzhuo. As noted in The Verge, the device is a 5.5-inch version of the HTC A9. It appears diverse from its smaller counterpart in elusive ways. In fact, the most noted is the presence of HTC's Boomsound front-facing speakers that were not included in the A9's design.

CNET also detailed that the handset will come with a screen resolution of 1080 pixels and it may be powered with a processor made by MediaTek, which is the eight-core Helio X10. It's also said that it will have two storage capacities. If the speculation is true, interested buyers can choose between the 16 GB version with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB version with 3 GB of RAM.

Techno Buffalo also noted that the design of the HTC One X9 is generally impressive with its slim metal frame. It also no longer carries a physical home button and the front-facing logo is moved up top. The SIM card slot is located on the right side, together with the power and volume buttons. The 3.5mm headset jack is positioned at the top and the USB connector is on the bottom side.

Moreover, the handset is equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization and a 4-UltraPixel front camera. It will also be powered with 3,000 mAh battery. There's no specific date yet on when the device will exactly come out but sources say that there's a possibility it will come around next month during the CES. But then again, perhaps the HTC One X9 will come around in February during the Mobile World Congress.
