Jennifer Lawrence of 'Hunger Games' Not Envious of Twilight's Kristen Stewart

Jennifer Lawrence, star of the upcoming "Hunger Games" is opening up about her ideas on fame and fortune, and why she's not envious of actress Kristen Stewart.

Lawrence spoke with Glamour magazine about her fear of fame and hesitation to be in the spotlight. "I feel like I am in the eye of the hurricane right now. It's daunting. I feel like I got a ticket to another planet and I'm moving there, and there's no turning back. I don't know if I'm going to like that other planet or have friends there. It's just scary."

She may not have any say in whether she moves to that fame planet. The Hunger Games series still remains at the top of book-selling lists and tickets for the movie's premiere have already reached new heights.

With Lawrence portraying Katniss Everdeen, the heroine of the series, fame is sure to be hers whether she wants it or not.

"I look at Kristen Stewart and I think, 'I'd never want to be that famous.' I can't imagine how I'd feel if all of a sudden my life was pandemonium. In some ways, it's a hard life, but it's a great professional life," she noted. "I'm doing what I love and then I get months and months of rest."

"Hunger Games" will premiere on March 23, but there are at least three sequels being filmed in order to cover the entire three-book series. Lawrence has signed on for the entire series and will continue to portray Everdeen's rise from relative obscurity to a national icon.

It might not be a far stretch for Lawrence, who has also described enjoying some of the smaller perks of being famous.

"I have a lot of money for a 21-year-old. I can't stand it when actors complain," she told Glamour. "Just recently I started letting myself eat things from the minibar. When we were kids, we would never open the minibar. A six-dollar Snickers bar? But the other day I was in a hotel and I was staring at a Snickers bar, and I finally just ate it."

As Lawrence moves more and more into the public spotlight, may the odds be ever in her favor.
