Jeremy Lin Laughs at Kardashian Rumors, Not 'His Type': Who Is?
During an ESPN interview with Jeremy Lin, the NBA player went as far as to laugh at the Kim Kardashian rumors, adding the he wasn't "that type." So what is his type?
As soon as Linsanity hit the world, rumors that Lin was dating Kim Kardashian were soon to follow. However the new star player declared his own confusion.
"Stuff about me dating Kim Kardashian, I mean, I have no idea where that came from and all these rumors," the 23-year-old said in the ESPN interview.

When asked if he is the "Kim Kardashian type, Lin shook his head. "Nah,I don't think I'm that type," he laughed. He also considered the rumor one of the "weirdest paparazzi moments" he has yet to face.
It is perhaps true that Kardashian, who has been accused of staging an entire wedding and marriage to Kris Humphries for the sake of publicity, may not be the most fitting girl for Lin. The rising NBA star has shown a discomfort to his new fame and lack of privacy. He has even avoided some publicity, stating that it wasn't good for his team.
"I'm not doing a service to my team by milking all of the attention, because at the end of the day that's not what I love. I love playing basketball," Lin stated. He also disagreed with the exaggerations about his role in the NBA. "I have been portrayed as a savior to the organization. I just respectfully disagree with that."
"For someone whose life is regularly documented for a series of reality shows, Kim Kardashian isn't exactly camera shy," Daily Mail wrote Tuesday after publishing pictures of her "testing" a new Twitter photo application.
Despite describing herself as shy, Kardashian has been quick to go on reality television and post pictures of herself on Twitter, advertising her latest looks. Her spotlight-drawn personality could likely conflict with Lin's attempt to keep a low profile.
Kardashian made a previous statement about the two conflicting personalities. "Certain people love the attention and the glamour of being famous and others wish they could just do their job and make the same amount of money but not be as famous as they are!" she said.
"If I had a day to myself I would play video games with my brothers," Lin commented during the interview which suggests that he might be more interested in a fellow gamer. "I love eating junk food. I'm a huge snacker, chips and candy," Lin added.
Kim Kardashian, however has had to stop eating junk food, after announcing that she wanted to get in better shape before she started having kids. "I eat less junk food, hardly any soda, and just try to eat more protein," she said.
So what type is Lin looking for?
"My family likes to call me an oversized kid. I think that's pretty accurate in some ways," he said. Is Lin's new love interest likely to be young at heart?
