Justin Bieber may have offended some people on the cast and crew of the hit television show "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," but his manager is defending the 18-year-old Canadian crooner's innocence.

Bieber, who guest starred on the show as a young thug, reportedly angered some of the cast members on the staff of the show after playing pranks like locking one person in the closet. However, the singer's manager Scooter Braun stood up for his client in an interview with Rolling Stone magazine.

Braun explained the situation, including the initial angry reaction from the show's producer.

"The producer gets on (the phone) – he's a stuffy dude, and he's like, 'Justin is incredibly unprofessional. He put his hand in a cake, he locked me in a closet,'" Braun told the publication.

However Bieber's manager explained why the producer was wrong in the situation.

"I said, 'Let me ask you a question. When he locked you in the closet, did you tell him you were angry,'" Braun reportedly questioned the producer. "He goes, 'No, I needed him to work, so I laughed.' And I said, 'So he saw you acknowledge his joke and say it's OK?'"

Braun explained that although Bieber is still an international pop star, he is still young.

"Then you're more to blame than him," Braun recalled telling the producer. "He's a kid – he's waiting for someone to tell him where the limits are."

Although Braun said he didn't think Bieber was wrong, he admitted that the singer was embarrassed about upsetting his fellow cast members on the show.

"At the end of the day, even in his most selfish moments you just need to point out that he's being selfish. He's more embarrassed about it than anything," Braun said. "When he's being a p***k, he's not being a p***k because he's famous. He's being a p***k because he's a kid."
