Karl Lagerfeld Strikes Again, Michelle Obama's Bangs 'Bad'
Karl Lagerfeld has offered another brazen opinion this week- this time about Michelle Obama's recent haircut.
The legendary French designer referred to the First Lady's bangs, which made headlines earlier this month.
"I don't understand the change of hair," Lagerfeld started on French television station Canal Plus. "Frankly, the fringe was a bad idea. It's not good."

The Chanel staple went as far as to say that the haircut now made Obama look like "une speakerine de LCI," which translated, means a news anchor. LCI stands for "La Chaine Info," a French cable news channel.
Despite his scathing review of the haircut, Lagerfeld noted that he "adored" the First Lady.
Meanwhile, other fans of Michelle Obama raved about the haircut, including the First Lady's husband, President Barack Obama.
"I love Michelle Obama and I love her bangs," the president declared during a speech at the Inauguration Eve event, according to USA Today. "She looks good. She always looks good."
Obama's haircut is not the first time Lagerfeld has lashed out with criticism.
Last year, the designer dished his opinion on Kate Middleton's mother Carole. Following his comments on Pippa Middleton during her sister Kate's wedding, the famed designer added his critique of Mrs. Middleton.
"I think Carole is very sexy," offered the designer while speaking to Grazia magazine.
Carole Middleton is often in media reports, for she is the mother of the Duchess of Cambridge, and Prince William's mother-in-law.
"There is something full of life about her. For a woman who must be 50 or so I think she's great. Full of energy," said the Chanel fashion mogul.
Lagerfeld's opinion of famous Middleton mother was much friendlier than his take on her daughter Pippa, who served as the only bridesmaid during Will and Kate's royal wedding last year.
"Kate Middleton has a nice silhouette and she is the right girl for that boy," Lagerfeld started of the royal couple earlier this year. "I like that kind of woman, I like romantic beauties."
As for Pippa Middleton, 28, the fashion guru was far less kind.
"On the other hand, her sister struggles. I don't like the sister's face. She should only show her back," the designer added.
Lagerfeld later apologized for his sharp comment, saying, "I didn't mean that," to Vogue U.K.
"I only meant that I don't think her make-up is right; she has a roundish face and round eyes and she should pick another make-up for the eyes. Her sister's more beautiful," he clarified.
Lagerfeld has also found himself in hot water for his comments about Adele in the past, saying the singer was "a little too fat."
"I prefer Adele and Florence Welch," the designer told Metro Paris in February. "But as a modern singer she is not bad. The thing at the moment is Adele. She is a little too fat, but she has a beautiful face and divine voice."
He later offered his apologies.
"I'd like to say to Adele that I am your biggest admirer," Lagerfeld told Metro New York. "Sometimes when you take a sentence out of the article it changes the meaning of the thought. Adele is my favorite singer and I am a great admirer of her."
