'Kitchen Nightmares' for Gordon Ramsay? 'Master Chef' Finalist Claims Ramsay 'Possessed' Him
Even though "Kitchen Nightmares" is immensely popular with certain audiences, statistics compiled by one website state that chef Gordon Ramsay was only able to save two of the 21 restaurants he visited. In other Ramsay-related news, a former "Master Chef" finalist was arrested and claimed he was possessed by Ramsay.
Ramsay had a low success rate in the first two seasons of "Kitchen Nightmares," in which he tries to keep restaurants from closing, according to Radar Online. During those two seasons, the site states, only two of the 21 restaurants are still open. To his credit, though, Ramsay's success rate increased dramatically during the next two seasons.
Those that have failed, though, have sometimes done so in spectacular fashion. "Amy's Baking Company" caused a complete media frenzy when Ramsay walked away from the eatery, claiming that there was nothing he could do to help the owners. They immediately took to Twitter, Facebook, and local press to blame Ramsay for not helping them and making the situation worse.

Last month, Chappy's on Church closed after a visit from Ramsay. Chef John "Chappy" Chapman issued a public statement blaming Ramsay for the business' closure.
"We shouldn't have done 'Kitchen Nightmares,'" Chapman posted on Facebook. "We have spent several months struggling to come out of a negative situation."
Ramsay is also in the news for one of his other shows, "Master Chef." Last season's finalist, Josh Marks, was reportedly arrested near the University of Chicago trying to use an emergency phone. When police approached, he turned violent, and it took five officers to restrain him.
Marks allegedly told police that Ramsay possessed his body and was transforming him into God, TMZ reported. He has since been charged with aggravated battery on a peace officer and attempting to disarm a police officer; he is currently in a hospital but under police custody. If he is convicted of the charges, he could face up to 14 years in prison.
"Master Chef" airs Wednesday nights on Fox.
