A $45 gold-plated coin engraved with President Donald Trump and King Cyrus’ likeness was being sold on the “Jim Bakker Show” as a "point of contact" in prayer.

The coin was being sold by Lance Wallnau, one of only three evangelical leaders to predict Donald Trump would win the election, according to USA Today. He claimed God told him to share the coin so people could pray for Trump.

“When I asked the Lord, ‘Why the coin?’ he said ‘Because when you take the coin, it’s a point of contact,’” Wallnau is heard saying in the recording. “So your faith is being released with a million other believers to pray protection and peace and wisdom and counsel over the president of the United States and over his family.”

“So your faith is being released with a million other believers to pray protection and peace and wisdom and counsel over the president of the United States and over his family," he added.

Along with the images, the words “The 70 Year Decree” and “Cyrus-Trump Proclamation” is featured on the coin. The nod is most likely referring to Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital in 2017.

The backside of the coin could also be a reference to Isaiah 45:1 in the Bible which reads, “Thus saith the Lord to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I take hold of to subdue nations before him and to strip kings of their armor, to open doors before him so that gates shall not be shut.”

“It’s our point of contact every day,” Wallnau continued, speaking of the coin. “When you see it remember God put something in your hand that you have a role in.”

He went on to say, “That’s why we got to pray, because they think we’re crazy. But we’re actually the sane ones.”

“We gotta pray,” he continued. “The teaching that is here, this coin is a point of contact, this 24-carat gold plated coin.”

Wallnau finished his sales pitch by telling viewers that the “battle for the future of America has already started” and there are 18 months until the 2020 election.

“God’s begun a miracle,” Wallnau concluded. “Let’s keep that miracle going."

Warren Throckmorton, an evangelical blogger and professor of psychology at Grove City College, argued that Bakker and Wallnau are grifters scamming their supporters.

"I don’t think Wallnau and Bakker are crazy. I think they are cynically fleecing people. Grifters gonna grift," he wrote.

"If they are sincere, what a strange and weak god these guys have. From their point of view, their god started a miracle but he needs people to buy a coin to make contact with him to 'keep the miracle going.' The miracle is that there are people who will actually do this. Wallnau and Bakker need Trump to stay in office so their scams can continue."

Bakker is also selling a "13 Cyrus Trump Bundle" on his website for $450. It includes the Trump coin, a book and a DVD. "How you respond to this summons could change everything!" the bundle's description claims.
