Lisa Left Eye Lopes Remembered 10 Years Later
The third member of the iconic group TLC Lisa Left Eye Lopes has received countless tributes this week, 10 years after her tragic death.
A part of the '90s R&B girl group TLC, Left Eye was known for her rebellious personality and eccentric fashion sense.
During a spiritually-minded vacation to Honduras, Left Eye was killed in a car accident at the age of 30. Her death rocked the music world and left fans deep in mourning.

On the 10th anniversary of her death Wednesday, the remaining members of TLC, Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins and Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas, announced they would honor Left Eye during their reunion tour.
By including the rapper into their shows using footage of her old performances, TLC and their fans can pay tribute to Left Eye.
Although the images of Left Eye will not be a hologram such as the one used of Tupac at Coachella, the footage will still incorporate the singer into the concert.
"The girls have done shows before with footage of old performances showing Lisa performing with them on a stage as they perform," clarified a representative for TLC, according to E! News.
Along with the tour, T-Boz and Chilli told Essence magazine that they are planning another album and working with VH1 as consultants on a biopic about their group.
Chilli posted her respects to Lisa on Twitter this week, writing, "Thank u all so much for ur kind words… and thank u for always remembering our sister, 'Lisa Left Eye Lopes' TLC 4eva!!!!"
The Grammy Award-winning group is best known for their songs "No Scrubs," "Waterfalls," and "Unpretty." Their music supported responsibility and independence while combining a soulful sound with rap, and saw many number one hits.
Along with the success, the group also endured many tough times. In 1994, Lopes set fire to a pile of sneakers belonging to her boyfriend, NFL player Andre Rison, that set his entire home in flames.
Despite her bout with drama, Left Eye's many fans are posting tributes on Twitter.
"R.I.P. Lisa 'Left Eye' Lopes (May 27, 1971-April 25, 2002) You are missed," wrote Tom.
@WeLoveLeftEye honored the singer by quoting her, posting on Twitter, "'All I can do is be me, do what I believe in and be myself and I suggest everyone do the same thing.' -Lisa 'Left Eye' Lopes #WeMissLeftEye."
