Macaulay Culkin News: Actor Relives 'Home Alone' Trauma in New YouTube Show
Decades later, and apparently, an all grown-up Macaulay Culkin still isn't over the trauma he claims he experienced with "Home Alone."
In the first episode of YouTube show :DRYVRS, the 35-year-old star reminded people of what really occurred during the Christmas movie, back when he was just 8 years of age.
In the clip, Culkin's mom calls and he ignores it. His passenger-turned-driver, played by series creator and writer Jack Dishel, calls him "ice cold" for turning his mother's call down. He then strikes back with an icy statement that there could probably nothing more worse than being 8 years old and your family accidentally leaves you alone during the Christmas holidays.

In the YouTube series, Culkin plays the husband of a car service driver. His wife asks him to fill in for him, and though he doesn't know how to drive, he gets forced to become a driver.
The upcoming episodes are still kept in wraps, but for a starter, Culkin did a good job portraying a cranky driver.
During the days when he was still the cute little Kevin that fans knew in "Home Alone," he was a hit to a lot of children and families. However, his life slowly fell apart, and though it seems he is starting to pick the pieces up from his alcoholic and drug overloaded past, he just made it clear in his new show that he isn't over the "Home Alone" drama.
The franchise hit big screens 35 years ago, and up until now, Culkin is shaming his role. He played Kevin McCallister in the movie and captured the hearts of people around the globe.
Rumors suggest that he started drug abuse when his relationship with long-time girlfriend Mila Kunis ended in 2011. He reportedly started partying too hard and was arrested in 2004 for possessing marijuana and Xanax.
The reports then added up, suggesting that he had heroin addiction, with a photo emerging in 2012 showing him decades older than his supposed age. He wasn't seen too often out in the public, but in 2013, he looked much healthier and gained some weight in a YouTube video introducing his band, The Pizza Underground.
