'Mad Men' Season 7 Spoilers: Megan and Don Headed For Divorce?
"Mad Men" returned to AMC for its seventh and final season last week, but fans are still wondering what is in store for Don and Megan Draper's marriage.
At the end of season six, Megan (portrayed by Jessica Pare) seemed to be quickly losing interest in her marriage to Don, a controlling alcoholic who, unbeknownst to her yet, is having an affair. Recent reports about Megan's acting career reveal some spoilers about what will happen in season seven.
This year, Megan's acting career will "heat up," according to TV Guide. The spoiler indicated that Mrs. Draper is growing increasingly independent, leading many fans to believe that Don's second marriage may end the same way his first marriage to Betty did- with the lid blown off of his infidelity.

Furthermore, an interview with Jon Hamm, who portrays Don on "Mad Men," seemed to point toward his character's divorce from Megan. The actor discussed Don's dismissal from Sterling Cooper & Partners and what that means to him.
"[Don's] screwed up the marriage, he's screwed up the kids," the actor revealed. "He always [knew] that at least he was good at his job, and now he doesn't even have that."
Meanwhile, "Mad Men" creator Matthew Weiner is staunchly secretive about the dramatic television series, especially in its final season. However, the writer recently opened up about the final episodes, admitting he had known about the ending for years.
"Every season, I come in, and I know basically what the last images of the show are going to be each season…" Weiner explained to AMC. "But the process that I don't reveal is that when I get to the finale, I usually don't want to do it anymore."
"Mad Men" airs Sundays on AMC at 10 p.m. EST. The synopsis for this week's episode, "A Day's Work," is as follows: "Peggy receives flowers at the office; Pete navigates the politics of new business; Joan is put in an awkward situation."
The seventh season of "Mad Men" will air in two parts- seven episodes this year, and seven episodes starting next spring.
