'Madam Secretary' Season 2: Elizabeth Finds Solutions To Russia Deal Jeopardy & ISS Emergency Situation in episode 11
After almost a month-long of hiatus, American political drama television series "Madam Secretary" is finally coming back to the small screen with new episodes. It can be remembered that the last episode before the winter break was a heartbreaking one. Dmitri (Chris Petrovski) was taken away by some men while waiting on the side of the road to be picked up by Henry for safety.
In the upcoming episode 11, events in the show aren't going to simmer down as new problems arise for Elizabeth "Bess" Adams McCord (Tea Leoni) to handle. According to Spoilers Guide, season 2 episode 11 will be titled "Unity Node" and it's going to show the Secretary of State trying to save a peace deal with Russia after something happens that places the deal in jeopardy. Everything that had been initially settled may be called off unless Bess finds a solution to fix what's wrong.
Latin Post also noted that if the peace deal dissolves, Dmitri's captivity by some Russian men will be put to waste. By now, fans are speculating that Dmitri is being tortured or worse, he could already be dead.

The Russian deal isn't the only complication there is for Bess to solve though.
According to TV.com, there is an emergency situation going on at the International Space Station. It's not yet known what it is all about but Christian Today noted that it may be somehow connected to the bungled peace deals between the United States and Russia.
Before the show closed for its break, the Russian ruler, Maria Ostrov (Angela Gots), got killed in an unexpected explosion. Bess and U.S. President Conrad Dalton (Keith Carradine) were there too when the explosion happened and it could have also killed them.
There's a possibility that Ostrov's death has caused Russia to sabotage the United States, thus the ISS emergency situation. Fans will find out soon who planned the attack against the world leaders when "Madam Secretary" returns on Sunday, Jan. 10, on CBS.
