Malia Obama Starts Summer Internship on HBO's 'Girls'
U.S. President Barack Obama's eldest daughter, Malia, landed a summer job totally unrelated to politics. She started an internship working with Lena Dunham on the Williamsburg set of HBO's "Girls."
The 17-year-old presidential daughter has been sighted in Brooklyn delivering coffee for the cast and crew of the popular TV series, Yahoo Celebrity News writes, as well as helping keep the public off the set during filming.
According to U.S. Weekly, Malia has admitted to being a fan of U.S. actress, author, screenwriter, and director/producer, Dunham, and is reported as having gotten along well with the series' star. However, it hasn't been determined how long Obama will be interning on the set of "Girls."

The dramedy series is currently on its fifth year and follows the complicated lives of a group of 20 to 30-year old New York women, with a display of frank language and an unhampered presentation of sex and nudity, drug use, parenting, and modern narcissism.
Obama's eldest daughter has been steadily carving out a career path away from the world of politics.
The "Girls" internship isn't Malia's first stint working in the entertainment industry. The previous summer, she worked as a production assistant on Halley Berry's CBS series, "Extant," and currently holds another internship with a fashion house.
The First Lady Michelle Obama earlier admitted during a People magazine interview in 2012 that it was Malia's desire to pursue a career in entertainment, particularly in the filmmaking industry.
Malia is due to graduate from the Sidwell Friends School, a private institution in Washinton D.C. next year, and has been looking at New York University, UCLA at Berkley, Stanford University, and her father's alma mater, Columbia University, as options for college.
