Man Who Nearly Starved Gets a Chance to Be America's Favorite Idol

27-year-old Rocky Peter was abandoned by his father at a young age, leaving him and his family with no money. Every day was a struggle. They were starving and suffering because they couldn't afford food. But that didn't stop Rocky from chasing his dream.

No matter what the circumstances were, Rocky always found time to sing and play his guitar. His incredible journey eventually lands him an "American Idol" audition and he doesn't fail to deliver. Rocky gets up there and sings an original song that he wrote.

Through all the struggle, God gave him a gift to sing and play him an instrument that can one day make him a star. He is overcoming heart ache and doing something that can inspire anyone to never give up!
