Marilyn Monroe Called First Lady: Wanted To Marry JFK
One of America's most beloved first ladies, Jackie Kennedy was more than happy to give up her reign to Marilyn Monroe a new book reports.
An actress at the end of her peak, Monroe was allegedly eager to marry John F. Kennedy and assume the new role of first lady.
"Can't you just see me as first lady?" Monroe asked her close friend Jeanne Carmen according to the new JFK book, "These Few Precious Days- The Final Year of Jack with Jackie."

Monroe was so set on marrying the president the book alleges, she called Jackie Kennedy at the White House and spoke of her plans and everything that the President had promised her. But Jackie offered a surprising response.
"Marilyn, you'll marry Jack, that's great," Jackie reportedly responded. "And you'll move into the White House and you'll assume the responsibilities of first lady, and I'll move out and you'll have all the problems."
Jackie was already aware of her husband's infidelities however, sources said in the book.
'You know, in the end Jackie knew everything. Every girl. She knew her rating, her accomplishments . . ." JFK's Air Force aide, General Godfrey McHugh said in the book.
Jackie was "mad" about the affairs but sought out help to save her marriage, fearing that it could be her fault that it was failing. But despite her attempts, JFK continued to cheat the book reported.
Other problems also included a drug dependency writes the book's author, New York Time's Best Seller Christopher Andersen.
JFK's doctor, Max Jacobson, allegedly, administered high-dosage amphetamine shots laced with steroids to the president on a "regular basis," book clippings captured by the New York Post Claim. "In fact, he would do multiple duty injecting the president, first lady, and members of their inner circle at the height of the Cuban Missile Crisis."
