Miley Cyrus a 'Stoner' For a Good Cause?

Despite battling rumors of being a stoner, Miley Cyrus has decided to use her pipes for a good cause.

Cyrus recently teamed up with the Amnesty International organization at their 50th anniversary. The organization, which speaks out against social injustices, will release a four-CD collection after the holiday season titled, "Chimes of Freedom: The Songs of Bob Dylan Honoring 50 Years of Amnesty International."

Yahoo! News reported that proceeds from the collection would be given to the organization. The disc will feature 80 artists, including Adele, Sting, Elvis Costello, My Chemical Romance, Ke$ha and Miley Cyrus.

However Cyrus, who will sing “You’re Gonna Make Me Lonesome,” is getting media attention for something other than her contribution to charity. While celebrating her 19th birthday last week, Cyrus’ friend Kelly, who is also the daughter of rock singer Ozzy Ozbourne, brought the young singer a Bob Marley cake.

Cyrus credited a marijuana habit for the cake’s inspiration.

“You know you’re a stoner when your friends make you a Bob Marley cake,” Cyrus said in an ABC News reports. “You know you smoke way too much f***ing weed.”

Osbourne joked with her friend about smoking salvia, after Cyrus admitted to smoking the plant when some accused her of smoking marijuana after footage saw her inhaling smoke from a bong.

“I thought salvia was your problem, Miley,” joked Kelly.

However, Osbourne came to her friend’s defenses on Twitter recently when some started to accuse her of taking drugs. According to Osbourne, the Bob Marley cake was a nothing more than a joke.

” Let me make something very clear after @MileyCyrus salvia incident we started calling her bob miley as a JOKE! the cake was also…A JOKE,” Osbourne tweeted. “It makes me sick that @MileyCyrus so called ‘friends’ would sell her out and lead people 2 believe she is someone that she is not!”
