Miley Cyrus' Mother Talks Being Unhappy With Singer's Wardrobe Choice
Miley Cyrus' mother Tish Cyrus has stood by her daughter's side as her manager amid controversial decisions, but the matriarch is admitting to an issue that she has had with her daughter's wardrobe choices.
Cyrus, 21, has been the face of controversy lately as a singer who has seemingly prided herself on her provocative appearance more than her music. However, the singer's father and mother, Tish and Billy Ray Cyrus, seem to have taken it all in stride.
Still, Tish admitted that she had an issue with the white mesh see-through dress that Miley decided to wear in September at the iHeartRadio Music Festival. Her bare chest was exposed in the outfit, leaving little was left to the imagination.

"That's the only one I really didn't like," Tish told E! News.
Brandi Cyrus, Miley's 26-year-old sister, witnessed the friction between her family over the outfit.
"I was there for that," Brandi told E! "..And there was some tension."
While Tish admitted that the outfit did not sit well with her, she also acknowledged that her daughter was old enough to make her own choices.
"That's the only time ever," Tish told E!. "Now Miley's 21, so, you know."
Last summer, the singer caused a stir during her MTV Video Music Awards performance, when she stripped down to a bikini while gyrating on married R&B singer Robin Thicke, 36. Her father has spoken about his thoughts concerning the singer after she faced media scrutiny.
"She's a very smart young lady," Billy Ray told Access Hollywood of Miley's infamous performance with Thicke. "She wanted to shake things up a little bit and mission accomplished."
While a number of people spoke out against the singer's performance and even called for prayer, Cyrus doesn't mind the negative attention. When Today host Matt Lauer asked if she minded the attention she was getting, she revealed why she didn't.
"I mean, it's kind of what I want. I'm an artist, so I'm hoping that I get a little attention or my record sales might be a little sketch," Cyrus told Lauer earlier this year. "I don't ever really plan to offend people, but sometimes that just happens because I think people, they're not open to what they don't understand. But that's why when I'm singing for my fans, because they're all really young so they understand what I'm doing."
