Missing Baby Lisa Irwin Soon to be Labeled a Cold Case by Police? (VIDEO)

It has been well over a month since Lisa Irwin went missing, and after going through hundreds of tips, police have yet to find a lead that brings them closer to finding the baby.

Will Police Begin to View Lisa Irwin's Case as a Cold Case?

Will police start viewing the case as a cold case? In other words, will the issue of the missing baby be abandoned due to what they consider lack of evidence?

There have been prominent cases in the past that have been abandoned due to what police would consider a lack of evidence. One prominent case was that of JonBenet Ramsey. In 1996, six-year-old JonBenet Ramsey, of Boulder Col., was reported missing and later found killed in her home, during a time when both of her parents were in the house.

The case garnered national attention due to the circumstances surrounding the death of the little girl, who had been successful as a child beauty pageant contestant, winning a number of awards.

The parents faced a great deal of scrutiny due to the fact they were in the house at the time, but after months of investigation, and controversy surrounding the case, the investigation became cold with police unable to determine the identity of the person or persons responsible for the death of the little girl.

The Lisa Irwin investigation appears to be headed for the same fate as daily reports for weeks now have declared no new leads in the case, and with attention of the press being sidelined by quarrels among attorneys and the police and attorneys versus attorneys.

The latest skirmish involves attorneys for the parents and those representing Rasleen Raim, the mother of little Lisa’s half brother, Blake, who is 8-years-old, as she fights to gain custody of the little boy from his father, 29-year-old Jeremy Irwin.

Still with reports that police have not held a major organized search for the little Kansas City Mo. girl for weeks, and as they have failed to announce any suspects behind her disappearance, along with the fact that they have also said that “tips in the case have begun to slow down,” fights between attorneys seem to be the only news emanating from the investigation.

The deficit of tangible leads in the Lisa Irwin investigation have now lead many to speculate if the case will eventually be declared a cold case.
