Moto X Force Coming to India, Features Shatterproof Display, 5.4-Inch Display, 3 GB of RAM
Good news for Motorola fans from India. The multinational telecommunications company is bringing their Moto X Force smartphone to the country. According to a report by The Times of India, the device will be launched soon in the country and Motorola India confirmed it via their Twitter account by posting a video teaser of the smartphone and its highlight feature—a shatterproof display.
The video released showed a comparison test wherein an Apple iPhone was shattered after being dropped at a certain height while the Moto X Force remained intact. The Indian Express detailed that the device is shatterproof all thanks to the Moto ShatterShield technology, which is composed of five integrated layers that absorbs shock whenever it drops to the ground. The device is perfect for those who are prone to dropping their smartphone.
Aside from its robust display, the device comes with a 5.4-inch display with WQHD (1440 x 2560 pixels) resolution. It is also equipped with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor paired with 3 GB of RAM and running at 2.0 GHz. Those who are interested in getting the device can choose between a 32 GB or 64 GB variant, which are both expandable via microSD card.
As for the camera specs, Tech Times detailed that the Moto X Force is equipped with a 21-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash. It also features Phase Detect Autofocus and an f/2.0 aperture. On the front is a 5-megapixel camera with an f/2.0 aperture and flash. Giving life and power to the handset is a 3,760 mAh battery. The device also supports Quick Charging and 4G, 3G and LTE. Other connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, GLONASS and NFC.
To those who are not aware yet, the Moto X Force is the international version of the Motorola Droid Turbo 2, which first launched in October last year in the U.S. According to a Gadgets 360 report, invitations to a launch event have been sent out by Microsoft India and it is for the launch of the device. The launch is scheduled for February 1 and will be held in Gurgaon.
