'Narcos' Season 2 Rumors: Next Season to Premiere in August 2016?
Following the success of the first season, "Narcos" fans are in for another round of thrill and fun as season 2 has been confirmed, and rumor has it that the upcoming installment will be released by Netflix sometime in August of 2016.
According to a report by Netflix Life, "The safest bet is to think the second season will be released in the late summer/early fall of 2016." The report further explains that since the first season was released in late August of this year, it is acceptable to believe that the producers will opt for a similar time line for season 2.
Meanwhile, Wagner Moura shed some light into what season 2 could probably bring to the fans who are waiting for spoilers.

In a Reddit session with fans, Moura, who plays Pablo Escobar in the series, addressed the issue on his weight. "About my weight...Unfortunately I can't lose it, when Pablo died he was pretty fat so I guess I will just keep on eating delicious Colombian food," he said.
His statements raised speculation that his character may see the end by the finale of the next season. This is in reference to executive producer Jose Padilha's statement (via Variety) earlier when he said the story was initially planned for a movie instead of a series.
When Moura mentioned Pablo's death, fans were quick to think that season 2 may be the final installment and it might end the infamous kingpin's journey, especially since he mentioned that he can't lose weight to somehow pull off the character successfully.
Aside from his weight, Moura also assured his fans that he has been working hard on his accent — an aspect in his acting that some fans noticed. In the first season, he reportedly struggled with the use of the Spanish language, given that he is Brazilian.
Information about season 2's plot is scarce since the first season has just wrapped up. On the other hand, fans can just rely on the possibility that the next season will be much more thrilling now that Pablo has escaped from the hands of the government.
