New Ministry Leaders Conference Merges 2 into 1

Hundreds of ministry leaders have gathered in Loveland, Colo., for three days of intensive, practical, and inspirational training.

From Wednesday until Friday, attendees of LifeServe 2009 will be "equipped to climb to greater heights in ministry" through presentations delivered by keynote speakers including John Ortberg, Wayne Cordeiro, Rick Rusaw, and Reggie McNeal.

The conference, organized by the leadership specialists at Church Volunteer Central and the Externally-Focused Network, combines the annual conferences of the two organizations into one for the first time.

"It will be a conference that will help your church become both internally strong and externally focused," says Thom Schultz, CEO of Group Publishing, Inc.

In addition to hearing from the keynote speakers, conference attendees will learn how to help their church identify, equip, and release people into their ministries through skill-building workshops led by national experts on church leadership.

It will also serve as a place where ministry leaders can establish or expand their network of peers.

"It's really like getting two conferences for the price of one," says Schultz.

Workshops at the conference include "How to Access Your Community's Needs," "Church Safety: The Missing Ministry," "Bringing the Good News Along with Your Good Deeds," and "Business & Professional People – The Untapped Resource in Your Church," among others.

Presenters include Kevin Palau, Eric Swanson, Jim Druckenmiller, Sue Mallory, Krista Petty, and more.
