Interestingly, that particular scene emphasizes the protective nature of the married gay couple, earning a positive feedback from the viewers. Harold McBride and Howard McBride will be voiced by Wayne Brady and Michael McDonald respectively.

The gay couple characters were the first ever bi-racial couple in the Nickelodeon network history.

Rise of LGBT Community on Children's TV network

In upholding the LGBT Community flag, TV networks like the Disney channel and Cartoon network had been promoting types of bisexual couples since then. Disney channel had featured it first in 2014, in the live-action show Good Luck Charlie, wherein lesbian parents visited the Duncan residence in an episode in its final season.

On the other hand, Cartoon Network's series Clarence, also featured a gay couple kissing each other on the cheeks. That scene was shown when a woman was patiently waiting for his blind date. A good looking man suddenly gets in, and greeted another man while kissing him and walked with his arms around the other man's arms.

While some series have focused more on the sexuality of the featured bisexual couples, in which some parents totally disapproved off, Nickelodeon's "The Loud House" focused more on the responsible parenting of the two Mr. McBrides, earning various overwhelming positive responses online.

"The Loud House" is basically a television series that revolves around Lincoln Loud, an 11-year-old boy, whose family is composed of a large number of girl siblings, ten to be exact. The show depicts the life growing up in a huge family, as inspired by its creator, Chris Savino's life.

The show premiered on May 2, 2016 and became the first ranked children's animated television series within the month, receiving an average of 68 percent viewers. It has been premiered internationally in places like Israel, Italy, France, Germany and others. Interestingly, the animated series had overtaken SpongeBob SquarePants as the network's highest rated program in June.
