Paltrow Miscarriage Caused Actress to 'Nearly Die'

Gwyneth Paltrow recently revealed that she suffered a miscarriage after the births of her two children, Apple and Moses. In the new interview, she said she "nearly died" after losing the baby and doesn't know if she and husband Chris Martin will try for a third child again.

"My children ask me to have a baby all the time," Paltrow told Mail on Sunday's You magazine. Daughter Apple is 8 and son Moses is 6; both are with Paltrow's husband, the lead singer of Coldplay, Chris Martin.

"And you never know, I could squeeze one more in. I am missing my third. I'm thinking about it, but I had a really bad experience when I was pregnant with my third. It didn't work out and I nearly died. So I am like, 'Are we good here or should we go back and try again?'"

It's a tough decision for the actress, whose career has reached new heights. She has branched out into other fields, including authoring a cookbook, managing a blog for parents, and being an overall advocate for health and natural eating. Paltrow recently came under fire for her latest cookbook, which teaches the practice of the elimination diet.

The specific, doctor-prescribed, diet eliminates all meat, wheat, and sugar. Paltrow has claimed that the diet helped her feel more energetic, shed unwanted pounds, and look better than ever. "It's All Good" is due out on April 2.

Meanwhile, Paltrow will return to the big screen in "Iron Man 3" as Pepper Potts and will also star as Dora Maar in an upcoming biopic of Pablo Picasso. But Paltrow still remains uncertain as to whether she will take on the role of "new mom" again.

"Regardless of what happens in our marriage, I chose the best father," Paltrow told You magazine. "He is so good to the children, and to know that you had kids with such a good man is like a real weight off you. We are committed co-parents, we make all the decisions together, and we lean on each other for support as well."
