Rick Ross Seizures: Rapper Released From Hospital Following Collapses (VIDEO)
Rapper Rick Ross has reportedly been released twice from two separate hospitals this weekend after suffering seizures.
Ross was trying to fly out of Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Friday on a Memphis-bound Delta Airlines flight when he suffered the first of two unspecified attacks.
The hefty rapper was said to have been unconscious with CPR being performed on him Friday morning following the first seizure. Even so, Ross said via Twitter that he would be performing that night at the University of Alabama for the opening of college basketball season.
But upon release from the hospital, he jumped on a private jet to continue to Memphis when he suffered a second seizure.
The University of Alabama at Birmingham Hospital confirmed that Ross had been admitted to the emergency room.
The second flight, on a private jet, was diverted and he was hospitalized again. Ross was reported to be under a doctor’s care on Saturday. In a photograph taken later by friend DJ Khaled, showed Ross released from the hospital, and recovering.
Ross did not play a scheduled concert in North Carolina on Saturday as scheduled, and there has been no word yet on whether his upcoming shows, one on Friday in Atlanta and another Sunday with Busta Rhymes in Los Angeles, have been canceled.
DJ Khaled has reportedly offered to take Ross back home to Atlanta by bus and was said to be leaving Monday. Amidst all the medical scare, both Ross and Khalid both made the opening of a chicken wing restaurant Sunday. That restaurant is said to be owned partially by rapper Ross.
“My brother ROZAY!!IS GOOD!!! @rickyrozay @Iamguccipucci #powercircle," tweeted DJ Kahled on Sunday.
