'Scorpion' Season 2 Episode 14 Spoilers: Team Prevents A Dictator From Detonating A WWII Bomb
CBS' hit crime drama TV series "Scorpion" Season 2 is slated to return this week with an episode that will see Sylvester reuniting with his estranged father. The meeting, as it turns out, is connected to a global crisis that will once again need the attention of Team Scorpion.
According to the synopsis shared over at The Futon Critic for "Sun of A Gun," the episode will touch on the very complicated relationship that the math whiz shares with his father, a retired general. However, it would seem that the meeting isn't just about a father-and-son reunion. The general happens to have caught wind of intel pointing out to a dictator in Africa who is allegedly in possession of a deadly World War II-era weapon of mass destruction. The leader is said to have the intention of detonating it, perhaps to further impose his power over his dominion?
While the team is busy thwarting the dictator's chaotic plans, a series of promo videos shared over at Hollywood Hills revealed some exciting events that fans should expect in the brand new episode.

In the highlight reels, Walter and Cabe can be seen engaged in speed dating. As viewers would suspect, the acquaintance game did turn out to be a disaster as the genius couldn't keep his "honest" opinion about his dates to himself.
"…honesty can get you killed," Toby, who appears to be monitoring in the background, told Walter.
In the speed dating event, Walter otherwise tortured the person in front of him with puzzles that obviously numbs the mind of the participant.
Meanwhile, a sneak peek also showed Paige's reaction to Walter's speed-dating game. When asked by Happy, the mother of one revealed that she's honestly "cool" with the notion that the team leader wanted to expand his social circle.
Whether or not these events are tied to this week's case, fans have yet to find out.
"Scorpion" Season 2 Episode 14 airs Monday, Jan. 18, at 9 p.m. on CBS.
