This has caused several speculations on what the upcoming movie will present. It was predicted that "Star Wars: Fall of The Resistance" will tell the story of many characters' deaths. This goes well with the hints that the actors provided, stating the the new installment will take a dark turn. The new title created a lot of buzz in the web, stating their concern for the future of the Resistance.

However, no official source have yet to confirm that "Star Wars: Fall of The Resistance" is the actual title of the film. The creative executive of Lucasfilm, Pablo Hidalgo, did warn fans about the fake spoilers being made for the upcoming film. However, he did not answer whether the title was correct or not.
