"Supernatural" season 11's next episode will prove that Sam and Dean cannot escape trouble, because it will follow them wherever they go, even when they are on a break and trying to enjoy a wrestling match.
After finding out that Castiel is Lucifer in the previous episode, Sam and Dean will now decide to take a break from their efforts to fight The Darkness in "Supernatural" season 11 episode 15. The official plot synopsis for the upcoming episode reveals that the Winchester brothers are about to encounter a weird case when they watch a wrestling match, according to Melty.
Based on the synopsis for "Supernatural" season 11 episode 15, Sam and Dean will attend the wake of their favorite wrestler from their childhood. When they see a roomful of wrestlers at the funeral, they will decide to revisit their fun childhood memories by watching a wrestling match. However, another wrestler will turn up dead, and this will spur them into action, the report relays.
WWE champ Mike "The Miz" Mizanin will star in the upcoming episode titled "Beyond the Mat." Aleks Paunovic will also appear on the show and play the role of a veteran wrestler, the Latin Post reports.
Aside from that, the promo clip for the episode shows Lucifer inside Castiel's (Misha Collins) body fighting against Crowley (Mark Sheppard), the report details.
Collins had earlier revealed how it felt to play Lucifer for the first time.
"The biggest challenge is that Mark Pellegrino has played this character so well that to follow in his footsteps is kind of embarrassing," said Collins. "And I'm glad that they've given me some good meat to work with for later, so it's been a lot of fun."
Meanwhile, Rob Benedict will return to the series to play Chuck, a character believed to be the Almighty Creator. There are speculations that the Creator will help put The Darkness back to her prison.
"Supernatural" season 11 episode 15 titled "Beyond the Mat" airs on Wednesday, Feb. 24 at 8 p.m. CT on The CW.
