'The American Bible Challenge' Game Show Seeks Competitors

The Game Show Network has announced its search for Bible fans across America for their new show, "The American Bible Challenge."

GSN is traveling all over the country and leading auditions in search of contestants who want to have fun while testing their knowledge of the Bible.

Contestants will have the chance to win money for their favorite charity on the upcoming new game show, which will be hosted by Jeff Foxworthy. The host is well known for his role on "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?"

"The American Bible Challenge" will feature questions that celebrate the Bible's ever-present influence and significance in today's life and culture. The studio-based game show seeks teams of three spirited, faithful people who want to make a difference.

Contestants are asked to offer personal testimonies as well as a familiarity with pop culture, and of course a working knowledge of the Bible. Each time will play for a worthy charity as they share their compelling stories and compete based on their awareness of Scripture.

Casting sessions will take place as follows:

Sacramento: May 18-19
Los Angeles: May 18-June 3
Atlanta: May 25-26
Chicago: June 1-3
Dallas: June 1-3

On Twitter, users are posting their excitement for the new game show.

"Do you have a dynamic personality and know your Bible," wrote Fuller News. "Audition for 'The American Bible Challenge' TV show!"

"I'm thinking of signing up a couple of my kids on my team for this game show," posted Connie.

"The American Bible Challenge" is produced by RelativityREAL for GSN, with Tom Forman and Embassy Row's Michael Davies serving as Executive Producers. The one-hour show is still under development but expected to air later this year.
