'The Walking Dead' Season 7 Updates: List of Major Characters Who Survived Negan's Wrath; Is Somebody Meeting Lucille?

Survivors will cross paths with Negan.

The sixth season of "The Walking Dead" left fans with a major cliffhanger. After Negan's wrath, there's got to be some who survived.

Who Survived?

Reports say that there are three major characters who were seen filming for the upcoming Season 7 of the show. Rick (Andrew Lincoln), Aaron (Ross Marquand) and Michonne (Danai Gurira) may be alive. Along with these characters, Tara (Alanna Masterson) was also seen in the set. During the Hilltop incident, Tara ran with Heath (Corey Hawkins) and was never seen for the rest of the season.

Reports also stated that other characters were seen on the set. Daryl (Norman Reedus), Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Father Gabriel (Seth Gilliam) were also there to film for the second half of the season. Jesus (Tom Payne), Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green) and Rosita (Christian Serratos) were also spotted, which means that these characters may have escaped Negan's wrath, after all.

New Character to be Introduced

Aside from the original characters of the show, there are new ones to be introduced in Season 7. Brion is a leader and a well-travelled one. He does not allow his emotions to rule him once confronted by a dangerous situation. He has been described as calm and collected. He has been reported to appear in the 10th and 12th episode, and may be in the last two episodes.

The sixth episode of the season will introduce a character named Jennie. She is a teenager who has remained calm despite the chaos surrounding her.

Naomi will also be introduced in Season 7. She is an old survivor and has seen a lot of her loved ones die. A lad on horseback named Rodgers will also be part of the same episode.

"The Walking Dead" Season 7 will have its first half introduce new things. New communities will be discovered and revelations will come about the previous season's finale episode. The second half would about the bigger things. It will also introduce a lot of new faces and will expound the story more as the journey continues for the survivors.

Promos have been released to get a glimpse of the previous season's characters who might meet Lucille. Whoever it is will be revealed in the seventh season.

Season 7 will start off where season 6 left. The show will return on October 23, 2016 on AMC.
