Third Coast Artists Agency Acquired by Entertainment Firm

A leading entertainment talent agency has acquired faith-based Third Coast Artists Agency, which books appearances for leading Christian artists such as Jeremy Camp, MercyMe, Natalie Grant, and many more.

The deal between TCAA and Paradigm was announced last week as thousands gathered in Nashville for GMA Music Week, one of the biggest events in the Christian music industry.

According to Paradigm, the TCAA deal fits the pattern of its acquisition of the boutique agencies, Monterey Peninsula Artists and Little Big Man four years ago.

"We modeled this deal on the way the Monterey deal worked," said Paradigm's Brad Turell in last week's announcement. "[Paradigm Chairman] Sam Gores looks for characteristics such as work ethic, integrity and a long term commitment to a clients career and TCAA seemed like a good fit."

TCAA's Mike Snider, meanwhile, said his agency would be able to provide more services to its clients through being part of Paradigm.

"I look at this sale as an investment in the future for our roster," he said.

While details of the acquisition are being hammered out, TCAA will continue to operate out of their current offices and book events for their clients.

Currently, TCAA has 31 clients, including Aaron Shust, Addison Road, Bebo Norman, Chris Sligh, and David Crowder Band.

Initially founded as Vanguard Entertainment and rechristened in 1999, TCAA is powered by some 10 employees.
