Tom Cruise Dating Cameron Diaz? Rep Insists They Are 'Friends Only'
Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz have sparked rumors of a romance following their interaction at the actress' 40th birthday celebration.
Cruise, who has reportedly been struggling emotionally following his recent divorce from Katie Holmes, attended Diaz's birthday celebration at the Coworth Park hotel in London recently where onlookers allegedly observed sparks flying between the pair.
"A beautiful setting, fabulous food, a happy occasion, the perfect sparks to ignite the flames of a new romance ... I could see them hooking up, absolutely," an insider reportedly told Life & Style magazine.

"A love connection between the two mega celebrities wouldn't be as surprising as it sounds," the source went on, adding that "they've always gotten along really well; they're totally tight. Cameron says Tom is an awesome guy."
A representative for Cruise, 50, denied that the pair are dating, insisting that "he and Cameron are friends only" to Gossip Cop.
Diaz, who is reportedly also single, has been romantically linked to hip-hop mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs in recent months following her devastating split from New York Yankees player Alex Rodriguez.
Cruise, however, has not yet begun dating and is said to be still coming to terms with 33-year-old Holmes' abrupt divorce filing on June 28.
The "Rock of Ages" actor is said to be "sad but not bitter" about his failed marriage, and agreed to pay "more than $10 million" in child support for his and Holmes' 6-year-old daughter Suri, according to TMZ.com.
Holmes, who was raised Catholic, was allegedly concerned that Cruise would send Suri off to a radical Scientology organization known as the Sea Organization which prompted the divorce filing.
Cruise, a devout Scientologist, had allegedly planned for Suri to follow the same Scientology-based upbringing as his adopted children Isabella and Connor. As part of the terms of their divorce settlement, the actor agreed not to expose Suri to anything relating to the controversial cult.
"Katie insisted that Suri's nanny and bodyguards always accompany her when she visits Tom. Katie did this for several reasons. This will ensure a smooth and easy transition for Suri when she is with Tom," a source previously told Radar Online.
"Suri is Katie's number one priority. Tom only has Scientologists that work for him and Katie insisted that her staff will always be with their daughter. Under terms of the settlement, Suri isn't permitted to be exposed to anything Scientology-related and this includes going to any Scientology churches, parties, etc. Katie made sure that this was ironclad in the agreement," the insider added.
