Wayne Brady Threatens to 'Slap' Bill Maher for Obama Jokes, Comments About Blacks

Bill Maher's comparison of President Barack Obama and comedian Wayne Brady has upset the latter, who recently physically threatened the 56-year-old comedian and political analyst for his remarks.

For years, Maher has compared Obama's lack of aggression to comedian Brady, who he said is not an accurate representation of a black male. In a 2010 CNN appearance Maher explained his reasoning.

"(Obama) looks beaten down, that's what disturbs me," Maher said. "I thought, when we elected the first black president, as a comedian, I thought in two years that I'd be making jokes about what a gangsta he was. Not that he's President Wayne Brady, but I thought we were getting Suge Knight."

However, Brady has been upset with the comparisons and recently spoke to comedian Aisha Tyler about the matter on her podcast "Girl on Guy."

"I've had Bill Maher twice now when when referencing Obama…he's like 'yeah, with your Wayne Brady'…so that means it's a diss to Obama to be called me because he wants a brother brother," Brady said.

The Funny or Die comedian continued to rant about the jokes that Maher has made at his expense while defending his race and behavior. However, Brady managed to speak in a threatening tone about the political analyst.

"If he once said, 'Oh, I wanted to know how black Wayne Brady is,' that chip on my shoulder says that rarely do you threaten a man, and I'm not threatening anyone," Brady said. "But if Bill Maher has his perception of what's black wrapped up, I would gladly slap the (expletive) out of Bill Maher in the middle of the street. And then I want to see what Bill Maher would do."

Although Brady admitted that he would not seriously harm Maher, he was very vocal about feeling that his fellow comedian disrespected the president along with the former "Whose Line is It Anyway" cast member.

"I take that personally," Brady said. "You mean to slam the leader of the free world with my name because I'm not the aggressive black man, that's fine. Let's go, Bill."
