1. President Joe Biden

In a pre-recorded video released last April, President Joe Biden announced he would be seeking a second term in office and officially launched his reelection campaign.

Despite growing concerns about his age and health, Biden said he wanted more time to “finish the job.” If he’s reelected, Biden would be 86 at the end of his term.

The three-minute video announcement comes on the fourth anniversary of when Biden declared he was running for president in 2019.

Statistics compiled by The Green Papers, which keeps track of the results of presidential primaries and caucuses, show that Biden has secured 3,365 of 4,698 delegates available at the Democratic National Convention based on the results of primary contests that have taken place as of May 10, making him the presumptive Democratic nominee for president. He has won 87.47% of the popular vote so far.
