The White House and the Bidens

The White House, represented by Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, conveyed its empathy and well-wishes.

"Our thoughts are with [Middleton] and her family members and friends during this incredibly difficult time and certainly we wish her a full recovery."

United States first lady Jill Biden and her husband, President Joe Biden, offered messages of courage and love.

"You are brave, and we love you," Jill Biden wrote on Twitter. 

Echoing his wife’s sentiments, President Biden added: “Jill and I join millions around the world praying for your full recovery, Princess Kate.”
