WWE Rumors: Big Show vs. Shaq May Not Happen After All

Fans have purchased tickets for April 2, the biggest World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) event this year. A lot of the wrestling fans are excited to see their man, Shaquille O'Neal, face-to-face against the Big Show. However, it may not happen anymore.

According to CBS Sports, recent comments from both parties may suggest that the highly anticipated bout in Wrestlemania 33 will no longer happen. O'Neal revealed recently that the match against Big Show may "probably" be off the table. It is unclear what went wrong but the former National Basketball Association (NBA) star made it clear that he would still keep himself busy with training in case things work out.

The Big Show recently commented on O'Neal's body, noting that the former Orlando Magic star is getting fatter. It appears that the WWE star is trying to get more fans to watch out for the match. However, the Big Show also hinted that it was O'Neal's side who had the problem.

The Big Show explained previously that the match may be his last chance to show off at Wrestlemania. His contract will expire February next year. Meanwhile, O'Neal and WWE had to strike a deal.

Meanwhile, the latest WWE rumors suggest that Finn Balor may be set up to replace the amazing Seth Rollins at Wrestlemania 33. Rollins landed an injury in a match against Samoa Joe late January. It remains to be seen if he will make it to the big night on April.

However, Sportskeeda notes that Balor is among the wrestlers being considered to replace the injured warrior in the big match against Triple H. WWE has yet to officially address the reports. Rollins' medical team has yet to announce whether the former champion. As of now, he is currently being monitored closely to see if his injuries will have healed by the time Wrestlemania 33 arrives.
