Rumer Willis on Mother Demi Moore's Hospitalization: It 'Weighs Heavily on Me'

Demi Moore's eldest daughter, Rumer Willis, has finally spoken out about her mother's recent drug-fueled breakdown.

"My mother is on the road to recovery, It's slow going but we believe in her," Rumer told German news outlet TZ-online during a trip to Munich.

The 911 tapes, which surfaced online after Moore's hospitalization, indicate that Rumer may have been present at Moore's Los Angeles home when she reportedly collapsed and suffered a seizure.

"Of course the situation weighs heavily on me," a candid Rumer said without elaborating on what led Moore to get high.

A rep for Moore attributed her breakdown to "exhaustion," which critics suspect may be slightly inaccurate.

"Because of the stresses in her life right now, Demi has chosen to seek professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health," Moore's rep told TMZ.

The renowned actress filed for divorce from estranged husband Ashton Kutcher, 33, after six years of marriage after reports that he had cheated with 22-year-old Sara Leal, and some fans suspect that it was the divorce has taken a toll on Moore's health.

Moore, who has never confirmed nor denied the cheating allegations, released a statement shortly after filing for divorce in 2011 which hinted that there could be some truth to the rumors.

"It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have decided to end my six-year marriage to Ashton. As a woman, a mother and a wife there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life," Moore said in a statement.

The mother of three has had a previous history with drug and alcohol abuse, but a source claims that the latest incident which is believed to have involved her inhaling "whip its" has been embarrassing.

"Ego-wise, this is the worst thing that could happen to Demi, because she's such a private person. She's embarrassed," a source told People.

"[Demi] has a real opportunity to grow from it. She has to take responsibility for her life. The right intervention happened in her life. From a spiritual sense, it is a gift," the source added.

Although some reports surfaced claiming Moore was undergoing rehab in Utah, she is believed to be recuperating at her Los Angeles home following her hospital release.
